Liverpool’s first design-led hotel opened on Valentine’s Day and thanks to some great PR, remained close to the heart’s of its guests – whether the great night’s sleep, a fabulous cocktail or a meal to die for, Radisson BLU was celebrated and praised across regional, national and international press.

Spotlight moments for hotel include being the host venue for MTV EMA artists when the spectacular was held in Liverpool in November 2008, also being the nominated for countless Mersey Partnership Tourism Awards and of course throwing the birthday party of all birthday parties to celebrate Liverpool’s 800th Birthday.

The Radisson Liverpool’s in-house fitness suite and spa, has undergone a total overhaul, with a complete re-brand, and new state of the art gym equipment.

The Ark Spa and Fitness re-brand included; a new sales brochure, in-house leaflets/postcards, stationary, and its own stand alone website.

Radisson Liverpool has launched its Christmas 2008 campaign. The design is based around the intricate fretwork featured in the hotel’s Italian restaurant Filini. The artwork will feature across brochures, advertising and internal communications.

When a city reaches the grand old age of 800, how do you celebrate? The best hotel in the city throws a party for 1000 guests, that’s how! Radisson BLU Hotel opened its doors to 1000 of Liverpool’s great and good and threw the party of the century.

Liverpool 800 was a journey through Liverpool’s past, present and future; matched with very best in decadent food and drink from around the world.

Whether you wanted to meet King John himself, experience the legendary Cavern Club or see the very best in the future of Liverpool music, Radisson BLU had it all and the whole party was broadcast live on Radio City 96.7.

Stars of the show had to be the cast of Chicago the Musical which was soon to arrive in the city. Cast gave guests a sneak preview of the Broadway show must to their delight.

Liverpool’s White Bar has come to the rescue and is inviting you to celebrate this festive season every Friday evening, throughout December, with the regions most talented DJs spinning the best in laid back beats from across the music spectrum. Posters and flyers were produced to promote the evening, and a contemporary design was needed to tie in with the bar’s chic new interior.
