CHERRY GOOD DAY!

TV Presenter and ardent supporter of North West Cancer Research Fund’s O-very Campaign, Cherry Healey came to Liverpool to see how the campaign’s cash is spent and to meet with real people who have been affected by ovarian cancer.

Dr Daimark Bennett who is leading research into the disease by using fruit flies, explained to Cherry the genetic similarities between humans and the flies.

Cherry also used the opportunity to meet with the inspirational Debbie Taaffe who is currently undergoing chemotherapy to treat ovarian cancer.

O-Very Day will be held on Friday 2nd March 2012 when supporters will hold their very own fundraising events to raise money and awareness for ovarian cancer.For more information on holding your own event, visit www.nwcrf.co.uk
